Do you think it’s time for the CDC and The national institute of health to refresh there terminology on HIV. It’s 2024 not 1983 and major advances have been made. Should the term "AIDS" be retired? I think @A myHIVteam Member might have mentioned this, but this is the first time I've seen it on Medscape.
Is AIDS just advanced HIV infection, or would eliminating the term give the impression that it's no longer a problem?

Undetectable sounds great on paper however we are still like those who don’t have this disease.we can get non hiv health issues that everyone on the planet gets.anyone dealing with medical issues unrelated to hiv that affects them.and does having hiv make it harder to control your other conditions?
