I’ve been reading a lot about the correlation between cd4 and cd8 ratio as an indicator of disease. Right now I have a low cd4 cd8 ratio. Some countries no longer tell you what your CD4 count is if you are undetectable.
If you live in a country that still tells you your CD4 count, what was your last number?

I have been undetectable for nearly 6 months but never have had a cd4 above 170 and that was when I had a viral load of 500,000 !!! Not a typo. Technically this has kept me in the AIDS dx but zero symptoms. Even my ID doc is puzzled by it considering I have had zero symptoms in 1.5 years.
Anyone with similar viral load and cd4 discrepancies?

Usually my cd4 count had been increasing about 20 each doctors visit.
April 9- 29
April 28- 53
July 7- 79
October 2- 109
However, this time (from october 2 - January 10) it only went from 109 to 112
Should i be concerned? This has me stressed out.

@A myHIVteam Member, everyone is different. Not everyone's numbers changes dramatically. In 2008, I was diagnosed at 156. Last year, 2023, I hit my highest number ever of 398.
I was recently at an HIV forum. During the discussion group, I was talking to a lady who told me she's undetectable but she's lucky to get her cd4 count above 300. Mine runs about 2000 and was up to 2804.
I'm wondering if my cd-4 count was that low if I would he a greater chance of infecting someone even though my viral load is undetectable.
I know that I would be at higher risk of getting sick if it was low but what about transmission?

Just got my latest blood test my viral load previous test was <20 my new test is 40 is that bad am I no longer undetectable? Cd 4 count jumped to 654
