Ive been so depressed and saddend that I infected my ex , who is only 28, in part because I feel like I might have robbed him about 10 or 20 years of his life because I am assuming his Biktarvi pills will wear on his liver and kidney eventually, shortening his life span by about a decade or so. Does it bother anyone (or offend) that the new commercials on regular and internet based television airwaves, for HIV/AIDS treatments, show gay men in loving and caring relationships as their poster senerio for needing PREP or Truvada or any other treatment?

With many antivirals and treatments coming up the pipeline , inevitably there will be treatments and trials here in the United States and abroad regarding the treatment and cure of HIV and other diseases like cancer.

One of the first things I was told is that an HIV / AIDs diagnosis brings with it a rollercoaster of ups and downs so make sure you buckle up. Now that the pharmaceutical companies have found a way to keep us alive for 30+ years with a one a day pill,what’s the incentive for them to come up with another pill.
