When you are having sex now, does your HIV come into play?

This came up in a discussion earlier for me. We all know what the discrimination or the stigma is of this virus now. But before you was diagnosed, what was your true feeling about HIV/AIDS or people who had it (if you knew of anyone)? How different was your view then compared to now?

With everything we knew and some things we didn't, did you ever think that this virus would affect you and or your family?

Whether the onset of your first symptoms, , an opportunistic infection that puts you in the hospital, a hardship that leaves you homeless and destitute, a long awaited vacation.... etc......does your pet pose a problem for you or is he/she beneficial and helpful?

What are your thoughts on negative people specifically searching for positive people, to have unprotected sex and become positive? What do you tell people like this? Do you just ignore them?

If You're Single, How Has Dating Been Since You Know Your Status?? if you are dating, do you specifically look for poz people, or doesn't it matter?

How do we treat the symptoms of the isolation and loneliness that this disease creates. Most of the time I am fine being on my own but then you see a LGBTQI film and you long for a meaningful connection with someone to share my life with. I have a couple of really good friends that fill the need for social outings. This disease is inheritantly isolating because of the physical restrictions that come with it.
