Members reflected on what parts of their 'old life' they are glad to leave behind, with many sharing powerful stories of personal growth and freedom. Several members described letting go of shame, self-hate, drug and alcohol use, toxic relationships, and family dynamics that no longer served them. A recurring theme was that moving forward, rather than returning to 'normal,' opened the door to a healthier, more authentic life filled with self-acceptance and gratitude.
