I'm currently on oral medical Odefsey, have been for years. I'm happy with it. My Infectious Disease physician is happy with it. During follow up visits he does mention the injectable Cabenuva. To me, I think I'm ok with Odefsey. My doctor says it's just as good. Aside from having an injection every so often compared to taking pills daily, what are the pros and cons of an injectable?
I'm not a fan of two drug regimens. I'm sticking to my three drugs until I have to switch.
For me personally I probably wouldn't be very good at getting to the doctor's office to get the shot. Where is on the pharmacy provides my pills to me to my doorstep I have a better chance to take them on schedule
I take one medication a day. I would not change at this point.
I’m hoping for a once a week or once a month pill to come around in the near future
