Members shared diverse experiences with testosterone replacement therapy for managing low testosterone levels in the context of HIV, with most reporting significant improvements in energy, concentration, and daily functioning. Several members described using either injectable testosterone or topical gel, with injections being more popular for consistent results despite some finding gels effective when remembered, and one member noting an impressive 150-point T-cell increase after starting treatment. A recurring theme was that members primarily sought testosterone therapy for fatigue and low energy rather than sexual function, with practical advice including trying injections if gels cause irritation, being consistent with application, and discussing potential risks and benefits thoroughly with a doctor before starting treatment.

1 bottle of T. gel/3 squirts a day because my testosterone was nil. I forget sometimes to take it but energy has increased when I remember.

Yes Good morning Ron. I personally have been injecting myself with testosterone for the last 10 years. I tried the gel but that only gave me a rash and not much energy. I had low testosterone to begin with and my energy level was very low so the doctor prescribed this for me. It started by him giving me the injection at the office but that became too expensive and bothersome so now I receive it with my HIV drugs along with the syringes. It helps immensely with muscle mass and energy levels.😁👌👍👍🤗❤️

My Dr told me that. It's not a good idea to take anything to raise testosterone unless absolutely needed because the longer you take it the more u need to keep your levels up. Anyway for me he advised against it because I wanted something
