Yes this happened to me. Someone I was in love with rejected me when I informed them I was HIV+. His reason was he went through that already with someone who ended up dying and doesn't want to go through that again. He was a great catch with money and good looks. He still visited and I tried to play it off like it was not a big deal until he brought his new lover to dinner at a restaurant and I had to sit across the table from him and his lover. I acted like everything was great but really felt awful inside. We stopped communicating. Now many years later when I look back I feel sorry for him because it truly was his loss. Just keep being that wonderful person you are you and the right person will come into your life and will love you so much that HIV won't matter. I know it hurts now but think of it as a blessing because if he used this to reject you what else would he use in the future to reject you. Much love and hugs to you keep shining. The fault is not with you because you have no control over it. The fault is with the other person who is not able to love another unconditionally.

I am sorry you are feeling this way and I hope that you do meet someone but its when we're alone when we're at our best .
Find Your Inner Strength I'm not sure if your spiritual or religious but dig deep and bring out the best in you

Think of it as a blessing. We don’t need those people, with their narrow minds and negative energy, in our lives. This gives you the needed time to focus on yourself, rather than someone else. I know it’s hard to be alone, but not as hard as being with the wrong person. Love yourself, and I believe the rest will fall into place. Best wishes to you. Rex
