Its unpleasant Gabriel, what your facing, and you are always on my mind. Personally I only have Surgery if theres no choice. For example, I was going Blind in the left Eye, I had no but to consent to Left Eye Cataract Surgery. I was lucky enough to have Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's Eye Surgeon to do the Operation. He had a small clinic for non royal Patients, and I got to see Sir Jagger to get my left Eye sorted. He's the best Eye Surgeon in the World, so I felt completely safe in his hands.
What goes through my mind is, "FINALLY, some good sleep!"
