Vitamin B6
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I would love to know about the benefits of vitamin B6? I don’t want to rely on Google, as it sometimes it can’t be reliable.

Just keep in mind that NOT EVERYONE is the same. Everyone's body is different. Talk to YOUR Doctor (Primary Care Physician/Doctor/Specialist) if you need to take some Bloodwork to find out exactly what you need to take your physician should be the best source to ask.
I advise you as a Medical Assistant Tech and Medical Office Administrator.
Plus also work for the Federal Government Call Center (and I say this to ALL Callers).

Thank you for your advice and help. When I see my GP/HIV Doctor, I will ask him about it. I will also ask him about my weight gain and if he can provide me some advice. 🥰🤗😎

@A myHIVteam Member. The Vitamin B6 is in a green tea that I bought from Walmart.

I too must suggest that you check with a healthcare provider or pharmacist. The main reason for this is that on some medications (like Triumeq, which I am on), certain vitamins (Such as D or B12) can actually cause problems with the meds. So not only does a lot of this depend on your body and what it needs, but it also depends on the specific medication(s) that you are on.

ok, you can still check with your providers as well to make sure if it is still going to be good for you. (Everyone is different) so not all vitamins are suitable for everyone depending on their conditions. I say this because I am a Medicare Professional (Medical Assistant and Medical Office Administrator).

This is what I was able to gather from my Medical Book for you:
Research suggests vitamin B6 may offer these seven potential health benefits:
Prevent and treat anemia.
Improve mood.
Promote brain health.
Ease nausea during pregnancy.
Protect your heart.
Reduce your chance of cancer.
Lower risk of eye disease.
