Members shared the wide variety of winter holidays they celebrate, including Christmas, Hanukkah, Yule, Saturnalia, Advent traditions like Saint Nicholas Day and Saint Lucia Day, Pride Day, World AIDS Day, the Winter Solstice, and even National Bacon Day, with some members explaining they focus on the spirit of giving rather than religious observance. Several members reflected on how working retail or healthcare during the holidays allowed them to let coworkers with families celebrate at home, and noted the emotional complexity of the season, from commercialization fatigue to missing the family connections they wish they had. A recurring theme was respect for diverse beliefs and practices, with members drawing from multiple faith traditions or identifying as spiritual but not religious, united by a shared appreciation for kindness, reflection, and marking the turning of the year.

I do not believe in religion of anytype I have found much hate in religion so I celebrate christmas as a giving holiday where we are reminded how we should act year round I consider myself spiritual believing in science and a higher power all at the same time
