Being Yourself Is More Than Enough

Written by myHIVteam

"After years of feeling like I need to be better, stronger, healthier, and in control, I now know I am enough." -Member of myHIVteam

Members of myHIVteam experience the burden of HIV physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Sometimes we strive to appear healthier than we are to avoid the stigma of HIV. Other times, we experience relief and support from peers who've been in our shoes.

"I'm getting out of the rat race. I'm not hiding my struggles anymore. If I'm tired, I'm going to rest. Hearing from others with HIV has taught me that I have to prioritize ME." - Member of myHIVteam

Here are recent conversations from members on myHIVteam:

"I'm still feeling grateful! I Hope you have a wonderful day no matter where you are and know that you are loved and treasured."

"This is a good life and if I remember to be grateful for what I do have (roof over my head, did in my stomach, clothes, and shoes, a bed to lie in, a toothbrush) things I didn't always have, I'll be happier. Have a great day, you lovely people."

"Another great day in the making! Be thankful for all that you have!
Be kind.
Be gentle.
Be grateful.
"
