I saw a lot of things last nigh and I can't believe this is a debate. What did you take away from the conversation last night?
Last night, February 4, Trump promised the nation that “we will eradicate the AIDS epidemic in America by the end of the decade.” Trump also promised this: “I have also made an ironclad pledge to American families: We will always protect patients with preexisting conditions—that is a guarantee. And we will always protect your Medicare and your Social Security.”
And he bragged that last year “for the first time in 51 years, the cost of prescription drugs

I say that too often perhaps
As we are still alive because of Dr. Fauci with his incredible work with AIDS & HIV. Developing daily meds with the big Pharmaceuticals that have helped us stay alive taking a pill a day, (which is individual and different for each of us), I just want to give a shout out to thank him, and glad that he is on the "team" to figure it all out. A brilliant Doctor who's always ahead of the game.
So, my family - do you have confidence in Dr. Fauci or support our President with his philosophy that… read more
@A myHIVteam Member then I wish you peace and as much as possible, comfort brother.
Indeed @A myHIVteam Member and that's going on around the nation. It is somewhat insulting as I am also an election worker; and know what steps we take to be fair. Then some "billyjoebob" asserts we… read more
I feel like I am reliving the beginning of the HIV epidemic back in the 80's. Lots of feelings from back then come to mind again. The lack of both the Reagan and Trump administration to ignore the science and growing numbers of cases and deaths, thus acting much too late. Tremendous fear of the unknown, and the feeling "am I going to get It"? All the loss of lives. And so much more. I feel numb. I think many of the long termers like me can relate especially to this. The good news, I… read more
@A myHIVteam Member I fully understand your feelings. I, too, have desensitized. The fact that there is no regard for human life on any level. I am doing my best to maintain my peace and I pray that… read more
HIV has come a long way from the 80s and 90s. And yes I know many will live a normal lifespan albeit challenging. However do you really believe the science or the scientific community will ,which includes our drug companies that are keeping us alive really find a cure.i read a lot and im extremely hopeful but hiv is such an insidious virus that is exceptionally good invading and hiding in our bodies. Is anyone hopeful that in our lifetime we will be cured and by that I mean no more medication… read more
I have a bridge to sell you also lol
Given the rise in current covid-19 infections, there is a strong possibility that states will revert to stage 3 of shelter-in-place. Are you ready ?
For me it's not a matter of being ready it's more of the possibility of staying alive, and if that's what it takes then so be it.
I know this is political and may be sensitive to some of our readers/team mates. My apologies.
By voting for this current administration, what do you feel is the strongest promises put forth by the campaign that supports us and our needs here? Where do you want to see us 4 years later? Since this administration is relatively new, what do you hope this administration will accomplish during the first year in the White House?
I would vote for a poodle if it means keeping Trump out of the white house! That man should never be allowed to run for any government office again. He is mental and has brought great turmoil and… read more
There are many different countries on this website. If you live in Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or any other country that has nationalized/socialized healthcare, what are your personal opinions on how it is run? What are the pros and cons of a nationalized/socialized healthcare system? If you had a choice would you keep what you have now or would you find something different? To the American's who "think or know" all about nationalized/socialized healthcare, let's have… read more
I don't know if this is happening in Europe and Canada, as examples, you don't hear about it on the news of course
You also don't hear anyone mention it at all, I believe that what will happen will… read more
I used to go to the HIV group offline when I was first diagnosed but it got shut down due to low number. So now I'm left alone with this diagnosis.
Instead of the group online, do you go to HIV/ AIDS gathering offline
Know this you are not alone we are here for you….
