The DNC event is coming here to Chicago in August, and there are already groups requesting permits so they can lead demonstrations. It's going to be an interesting summer here.

If you want an example of how much healthcare can be turned upside down, the repeal of Roe v Wade is a good example.

Women's reproductive healthcare is now a mess, with Arizona (my State) reviving a territorial law from the 1800s which flat out denies the procedure except for the imminent death of the mother.

With each State deciding women's reproductive healthcare for itself, there is no continuity of care. Imagine if your State got to decide how it was going to treat HIV care, based on the politics of the moment in that State. Insanity for healthcare!

With RNC event coming to Milwaukee this summer I expect there will be demonstrations. News is already reporting where they will be allowed to occur. I tend to avoid Milwaukee so doubtful I will experience them in person.

At this point isn't it time to burry the " I'm republican" or "I'm democrat" and adopt the "I'm an American" way of thinking? No way people will agree on everything so maybe think long and hard about the other guy's point of view and try and understand and perhaps we start compromising? I will give a little but not get everything I want and you do the same? And government not doing what
"I'm an American" party wants are kicked to the Washington curb with all the homeless they do nothing to help. Just a train of thought. No offense meant to anyone.
