I live in seattle now and mid 2017 I began seeing a new ID specialist who had great reputation and was very current in what new developments are happening. About a month ago, i was blind sided by an email from his office manager informing me (and i checked to verify) that his license to practice had been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation by the state medical quality assuarance board - basically he's benched until forever. When my original ID doctor retired was a double hit losing my family doctor. My Specialist assures me that he had handpicked several and knew I would relate do my current one. Right now, I went from 3 months to 6 and now 10 or 12 unless I suffer seperation anxiety. It’s critical to owns sanity to respect your ID team. Best wishes in finding a replacement

Check with any HIV/AIDS clinics in the area. They can help in the interim and should be able to refer you to some specialists in the area.
