Members connected over the shared burden of managing multiple daily medications, with pill counts ranging from just one to over 20, including treatments for HIV, seizures, asthma, migraines, depression, diabetes, and chronic pain. Several members offered practical wisdom about safely reducing medications, emphasizing the critical importance of consulting a doctor first, tapering off very slowly over three-month cycles, and never stopping multiple medications at once. A recurring theme was the emotional weight of filling weekly pill boxes, met with compassion and solidarity, as well as helpful suggestions like enlisting a partner's support or using pre-packed pharmacy services to ease the daily routine.

I'm at 16 pills daily. I hate taking them but I'm lucky enough to have a husband who sits my pills out every night and always either reminds me before bed or asks me in bed about taking my meds. If it wasn't for him, I'd miss doses all the time just because I'm tried of taking meds.

I used to take a 3 pill regiment for HIV and 1 pill for Depression. Now, I take 1 pill for HIV, 1 for Depression, and 1 for bi-polar. Bi-polar one is soon to end, though.
