With our HIV medication becoming more advanced some of us take other pills for our ailments. How many pills do you take a day?
I take one pill a day
Have used Klonopin 1 mg at night before for sleep and 1/2 during the day as needed I am see my new psychiatrist Wednesday and will ask her, I checked it with my current medicines and they say the dose will be adjusted according to how it is eliminated in my system.
I used to be on Klonopin for PTSD - it was the only thing to bring me out of panic attacks -

Well unfortunately @@Genvoya is not what I expected. I have every side effect listed plus a few more. Here we go...insomnia, lack of appetite, nausea, headache, diarrhea, rash, worsening neuropathy, nightmares nightmares nightmares and this strange thing which makes my eyebrows tingle after I take the dang stuff. Do you suffer from anxiety, depression fear, anger …etc.? Has HIV prompted this or made it worse?
Do you think our primary care physicians and HIV facilities should look into short and long term effects on mental health with HIV infection?

Hey all!! Just wondered if anyone has experienced Any form of depression since being diagnosed? I was diagnosed 5 years ago, all ok until the past year when I have started to notice changes. Just seeing what helped anyone.

There seem to be more and more posts about feeling depressed, anxious, and even hopeless. Having HIV and depression, anxiety, or panic disorder makes it so hard to cope. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety which has haunted me for years even with the help of anti depressants and therapy. Both HIV and Depression has a tendency to isolate us, because they both carry stigmas. It is hard to talk with people about it if they don't have it and sometimes push people away.

believe it or not are I've deal with mental illness for a long time including depression. But having HIV plus the other two diseases that make call me to an early grave make things worse.
Just curious what some symptoms you have on a bad day being positive? I'm wondering if its normal or if its just me. I'm healthy for the most part so having a bad day really sucks.
On a bad day for me:
1. I have no energy
2. I wake up fine, and then all of the sudden feel like crap.
3. I use the bathroom a lot
4. I dont want to get out of bed
5. Sore throat that wont go away
6. Antisocial

None of your symptoms..Maybe sore throat. Irritability is my weak point and can make for a bad day!
