I've been on Atripla for about 9 years now. I didn't notice it until recently but I have had mountains of mood swings, terrible depression, and I feel anxious so so often. There's also this fear this odd fear of just "doing" anything. Has anyone experienced this?
Hope your drugs were changed. Sending love..
hi all I'm on atripla my doctor wants to change my meds next appointment my count is good viral load good ect advice please ????
I was good on atropla, but my doctor changed to byktarvi.
Taking atripla since August 2012, have always experienced a slight feeling of not being able to focus, or feeling somewhat “foggy” in the mornings after waking up, or not being able to think out step by step how to handle something in a stressful environment. Also forgetting small things here and there. Not sure if it could be related to atripla, but these issues didn’t come about until I started It almost 6 years ago
I think moving up in age is the reason for my memory loss.
Anyone experience dental issues, such as cavities, loss of, or soft enamel and/or gum erosion as an adverse effect of their HIV meds, Atripla, specifically? I've been taking Atripla since it became available, 10+ yrs ago, and I'm having these dental issues, despite taking care of my teeth. My dentist thinks it's from the meds causing dry mouth, so that bacteria thrives in the mouth, softening enamel at the gumline, creating a good environment for cavities to form.
My cousin has been HIV positive for several years and the dentist had to pull all of his teeth and he has dentures as a result of meds. I’m not exactly sure what he takes. Blessings!
Well unfortunately @@Genvoya is not what I expected. I have every side effect listed plus a few more. Here we go...insomnia, lack of appetite, nausea, headache, diarrhea, rash, worsening neuropathy, nightmares nightmares nightmares and this strange thing which makes my eyebrows tingle after I take the dang stuff. My ID Doc wants to switch me and of course she says she has never seen this with one of her patients...lucky me. My question is this: Anyone else have issues with @@Genvoya and have… read more
Being a long-term Survivor has its many setbacks. One of them being loneliness and feeling left out. With the new generation of Atriplas, many of us long-term survivors experience feeling forgotten.
I just want to remind all of you that we're still here. Make everyday count and make sure you give yourself all the credit you deserve each and every day of your life. Much love my family🤗🤗🤗💞💝🤘👍
My friend's Doctor changed his medicine and now he's no longer taking atripla. He has got to recoup some of this cost and the pharmacy won't buy this back. Is there a legal way he can sell these pills? He's sure someone out there needs them. How much can he get per pill?
Donate any unused HIV meds to your local AIDS foundation. They will make good use of it. Trying to resell these is unethical especially if you did not pay the full cost of the meds and it was paid for… read more
Do antivirals cause wacky side effects or is this just hiv playing tricks. First I have severe diarrhea which finally went away, then i get a crazy rash on my arms and legs. And now I have a fistula on my gum. Went to dentist he says he sees no infection but gave me antibiotics. I’ve been positive for less then 3 months cd count 560 viral load 176 also I have a swollen lymph node on left neck very small size of a pea but have had it since I became positive shouldn’t the arvs help shrink my lymph… read more
