I’m attending a long term survivors ceremony!
Just found this because I too had never heard of.
HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day (HLTSAD) honors long-term survivors of HIV and increases visibility of their needs, health issues, and journeys. The annual observance falls on June 5, the anniversary of the first reported cases of what later became known as AIDS, in 1981.
@A myHIVteam Member I never heard of it either. I looked it up. It was yesterday. June 5th, That day was chosen due to some pills that were released. You have to have the virus for 10 years to be considered a long time survivor.

Went to see my HIV doctor. He is an amazing person.
