Not being ashamed and owning the diagnosis has been my goal.
Long term survivors day is in June 5th in our area there is an event
It'll be my 10 years next year in September I'm excited for you. Remember to celebrate how you want to and don't let anyone tell you any different

Do something special for your self .
Go out have a nice dinner to celebrate and if you can find some thing approiate to wear that shows that your celebrating them show off your accomplishment :)
Ol so I ordered this sash from Amazon to get it here in time for my birthday .
Had a psyche appointment that seemed to lazt all afternoon when I had things planned :( .
Got home got the sash on and began doing what was planned ( even tho I got home after lunch still I paid fhe dinner costs because " dammit you only have one birthday a year ( well some females have the sane birthday several years in a row so I guess I very well could as well :) .
Did my usual schlepping thru the usual planned routing and got home and enjoyed my dinner while still wearing my sash ( which methinks I shall flatten out so it can be used next year : 😀. ....
