I had experience a bad headache my glands were sore I went to the emergency room then they told me I had to take some kind of CAT scan but they told me I had a little bit of a virus so I had to go see neurologist he was the one that determined that HIV it's crazy this wasn't 2017 I was diagnosed everything I was thinking about I was going to die but I couldn't leave my daughter and my grandson that was good so scary when I'm okay my city for the last time it took 3 months ago that was still undetectable and now I have a new doctor so I have to go back and get a blood work I'm feeling good I've never got sick never had to stay in the hospital just a sad situation.
I had HIV for years before I was diagnosed
For about 6 months prior to being tested I was having low blood pressure and passing out all the time. I also started getting very confused. It was when I passed out at home and hit my head that my daughter took me to the hospital, they didn't actually test me right away cuz they didn't suspect that's what I could possibly have. But another two weeks went by before somebody finally decided to test for HIV. At that point I had AIDS CD4 count of 17 viral load over 600,000. But now 3 years of Biktarvy and my CD4 count is in the 500s and my viral load is undetectable.
