I switched to Dovato in 2021. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia shortly afterward. Turns out my severe back pain, worsening neuropathy, sinus and throat issues, headaches and more could be attributed to Dovato as opposed to fibromyalgia. I highly suspect this is the case. Please keep us updated about switching to Biktarvy. I also suffer with peripheral neuropathy and my doc tried me on Delstrigo and a brief one month of Biktarvy to see if my neuropathy was caused by Triumeq. After 13 months we went back to Triumeq. I had been on autopilot with Triumeq for 8 years and now have a blip. We think my blip was a result of 28 days of radiation therapy for prostate cancer. My Cd4 dropped formed 838 before therapy to 335 as if 1/5. But…..we decided to stay with Triumeq since we don’t believe its treatment failure but most likely the radiation used my T cells to defeat the cancer. We’ll see. New labs on 2/24. Hang in there bud I’m 77 and still fighting strong. Never been sick a day a in my life because of HIV after I was diagnosed 22 years ago. You just can’t give up.
Thank you everyone. I went back to Biktarvy and have been much happier with the side effects.
What ever drug you get switched to. Make sure you get a genotype done. Id hate to have you go through unnecessary complications.
If possible, try Cabenuva. I’ve been on it since 2022 and it’s the best thing ever. No side effects except a little sore the first couple shots, but I’d take that over the pill I was on any day.
