anyone know of other possible program similar to Ryan White?
Did they give you a reason as to why you are not eligible?
@A myHIVteam Member, They won't tell you the particulars. Go online and look up the eligibility requirements. It just happens I was the IL website today trying to get my adap through. There's more wiggle room for a family of two. Your allowed like up to 500% of the federal poverty limit. And it's really per person in the house. I got caught up with liheap last year. They count their income as well. So it could bite you.

Wow !!! Thank you all for this insight @myHIVteam users... yeah they finally told me that I make "too much" for my household of 1 even though it two people living in it. I asked if I got a domestic partnership or married to my longterm partner would that change anything and they where unclear about that.
Hello, how are you? I see that you are in Atlanta. You know that they told me about a government program called Oscar Medical Insurance. You have to pay a monthly premium based on the income you earn in your fiscal year. I have not taken it because I now have some financial problems that have not allowed me to join it. But it covers your medicines, consultations, and medical exams.
It depends on where you are in the process. I would first apply for medicaid. Kudo's if you're approved. If you're denied. You should be able to then apply for insurance on the marketplace. Then speak to your social worker about having Ryan white cover the monthly premiums. I learned about that earlier this year when I lost insurance
