Well,I'm not saying not disclosing is good, but I sometimes feel some people may be taking advantage of the fact that the law exists. The fight against HIV is a two-way thing, and so is the case in sexual relationships! I feel I as much as it's the responsibility of an HIV positive person to disclose their status before sex, both partners also have to consider preventive measures for unwanted pregnancies, and STIs like HIV/AIDS.Yes,BOTH! Instead of just putting the full blame on HIV positive… read more

You raise a valid and thought-provoking point. While laws requiring HIV disclosure aim to protect public health and prevent transmission, they can sometimes feel one-sided. Open communication and mutual accountability are key to reducing stigma and fostering healthier relationships.

It's a risk they took. How do you defend it after the fact? I don't think it' should be a criminal case. But I feel they should be able to sue you. How is the other person supposed to know your undetectable if you haven't told them. And not everyone that has HIV is on meds. Telling someone after the fact, cancels your ability to tell them anything about your condition because they prolly don't trust them anymore. What is the other person supposed to do? Just kick rocks? Violence is out of the question. What is a person supposed to do with that anger. They are going to hurt you back. And you gave them the weapon. Depending on what gender you slept with, there so much grape law out there to put you under the jail. It won't be long until you see them used more broadly. Normally in the same places that have anti-HIV crimination laws. Heaven, forbid you have a trial by social media. It's been one after that.

No. It is a person’s right to have full disclosure and is against the law not to disclose. Why keep any secrets anyways they come out in the end. I found the easiest just to be upfront with everything.

I'm sorry you were going through this. I'm not sure what the laws are in your country. Stay strong and make sure you surround yourself with loyal and supportive people.

I disclose to everyone and anyone. It's really no biggy. I'm undetectable and am open to bareback.
