Dating with HIV can be difficult, but not impossible, but mainly difficult. There is no easy way to tell anyone. Pretty much, you just have to swallow your pride and just put it out there. Then quickly tell them that your in medication and can't pass it on.
If they want to know more, they'll stay and ask questions. If they are a bigot, they just leave. Always expect the worse though. If someone takes the chance, then it's a big surprise.

Well.... You can't catch HIV from eating. I go out on the date to see if there is something there. You can decide is that's a person you want to share that information with him after you vet him. It just depends on your intentions. I dated someone that identified as bi , new to messing around and negative. It was a fun dance trying things and getting comfortable at our own pace. You only live once.
