Members shared their experiences and interest in Sunlenca, a twice-yearly HIV injection, with many expressing fatigue from daily pill regimens and hope for this newer treatment option. Several members described their current medication routines, including one member who has been on Sunlenca since March 2023 in the U.S., explaining the initial dosing protocol and ongoing six-month injection schedule, while others noted they are currently on Cabenuva with every-two-month injections and waiting for Sunlenca approval in Canada. A recurring theme was cautious optimism tempered by practical concerns, as members acknowledged that while approval may be coming soon, insurance coverage remains uncertain and the medication is reportedly very expensive.

I have been wanting to ask my provider as well. I'm tired of taking so many pills a day.

The French doesn't bother me in the least. I speak and communicate in both languages interchangeably haha.
