I am always saying Europe is far ahead in HIV studies
One of the studies Europe is doing, I am doing against my doctor's wishes. It's all about $$$$
Here is the newest study Europe is doing: PREP.
Here in the United States, doctors want people to take PREP every day to prevent HIV. Well, in Europe, they have been doing studies that show taking PREP just twice a week is just as effective at protecting you from getting HIV.
Now this study does NOT work for women in the same way, ONLY men.

I believe if we get tested, be aware of our partners, and take our one thing that helps us make up for our mistakes (meds), we can live productive lives. I feel now that I am dealing with a situation that deserves my attention, I should be greatful and start over.
