Is Anyone Taking Cabenuva?

My health insurance and adap here in Michigan will not pay for this bi-monthly drug. Has anyone else had this issue with their health insurance and adap? If so, how are you getting it covered?

It's been out in Europe now for 3 years and almost 2 years here in the United States. You get one shot into each butt cheek.

@A myHIVteam Member, I guess it’s different for everyone. There was a Cabenuva representative in my Doctor’s office the day that I signed up for it and he said that starting with the pill form was recommended, but not required. Thankfully, I’ve had no reaction to or side effects from the injections.

I gave Medicare and Medicaid. I don’t know it was just approved. The two shots one in each ass cheek hurt for two days after. The needle was like 3 inches long and so much liquid medicine was in each. The first looked like water . The second looked like milk. I hope it works. It feels scary not taking my meds each day. It supposed to last for two months
