According to them they have suffered like a racism act due to the fact of being positive ... someone actually said she had a scholarship to study in some country but unfortunately after the hiv test results come out they denied the visa ...has anybody else experienced this / is it true this can happen ?
@A myHIVteam Member, from what I'm reading, these countries have travel bans for HIV+ people: Armenia, Brunei, China, Fiji, Iraq, Korea (South), Moldavia, the Russian Federation, and Saudi Arabia.
These countries have travel restrictions: Angola, Aruba, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cayman Islands, Cook Islands, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, New Zealand, Oman, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Qatar, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tonga, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos, Tuvalu, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
@A myHIVteam Member you have never been asked because you are a United States Citizen. Up until President Obama changed the law, all foreign citizens were asked about HIV status.
Wow that's crazy
they claim that nobody is poz especially in China hmmm
Hmmmm that's so unfair you know
