I used Crystal Meth for 12 years. I made very poor decisions. I exhibited compulsive sexual behavior the whole time. When I overdosed and woke up in the hospital, I was told that I was HIV positive and needed to schedule an appointment. When I got out of the hospital and checked into rehab, they tested me again. I was referred to my current doctor, I had a very high viral load, and my Tcells were dangerously low. After 9 months, I was undetectable. My Tcells are now normal.

I am currently in a monogamous relationship, my husband is on Prrep. I have not used meth since 1/13/2014.

That’s my personal story.

Not surprising, but interesting to see some numbers on this.
