I dont know what part of the world you live in however, I recommend once you get your results, if you’re positive you request information on where to go next. Not having health insurance shouldn’t decide access to care, ask about resources, case managment or services for an indigent person.

Then ask for a referral, you should be linked with services in your area. In the event youre not, reach out using this network for advice in your area. Just the general area, no one on here should be or will be sharing your protected health information. This site is based on knowing Health Insurance/Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) and if anyone violates your personal privacy can be subject to up to 25,000 dollar fine per violation as well as exclusion from this site.

No one on here is trying to be excluded from their community so make sure to ask questions and if you’re not comfortable try to keep your info relegated to zipcode in order to address your need. No need to self disclose if you’re not wanting to.

That’s what I know from working with other HIV positive folks and being HIV positive myself.
