Im still using Atripla. I have been on it for 8 years. Definitely not one of the newer drugs but works for me. I take it once a day at bedtime because it makes me drowsy. No major side effects other than usual dreams and drowsiness.

Juluca is relatively new. 1 pill per day with a little food.

It all depends on what you've taken so far. Different classes of HIV meds leave one with different future options. Your MD/HIV specialist will know what's available for you.

One pill is just another sign of how far we've come since I was taking over 30 pills/day throughout most of the '90s.

Good luck and please let us know what you learn.šŸ¤

There are some that are better for people who are treatment naive vs. someone who is treatment experienced.
I would speak to your provider and have him/her share the pros and cons of each.
The two I see most people using are Biktarvy and Genvoya.
I'm still on Isentress and Truvada. I don't want to switch because this regimen doesn't have a lot of problems with other meds. As I've gotten older, the number of pills filling my medicine cabinet seems to have multiplied.
