Members responded enthusiastically to someone seeking a single-pill HIV medication, with Biktarvy emerging as the most frequently recommended option, praised for its effectiveness and once-daily dosing. Several members shared their personal experiences with various one-pill regimens, including Juluca for those with kidney concerns, Dovato, Symtuza, Atripla, and Genvoya, with some noting manageable side effects like vivid dreams, drowsiness, or initial digestive issues that often improved over time. A recurring theme was the importance of working closely with a healthcare provider to find the best fit based on individual health needs.

Im still using Atripla. I have been on it for 8 years. Definitely not one of the newer drugs but works for me. I take it once a day at bedtime because it makes me drowsy. No major side effects other than usual dreams and drowsiness.

There are some that are better for people who are treatment naive vs. someone who is treatment experienced.
I would speak to your provider and have him/her share the pros and cons of each.
The two I see most people using are Biktarvy and Genvoya.
I'm still on Isentress and Truvada. I don't want to switch because this regimen doesn't have a lot of problems with other meds. As I've gotten older, the number of pills filling my medicine cabinet seems to have multiplied.
