One of my protocols involved Combivar. That was a substance that made all alcohol even a taste of wine unacceptable.
One day I had a routine eye appointment and fortunately the surgeon for my LASIK surgery was in. He commented on a pale yellow hue in the white of my eyes, suggesting a meditation was phasing out of its purpose.
At the ID Clinic the first thing was an appointment with the pharmacy doctor.
‘There is no longer the need of the current prescriptions. Please return them to your pharmacy. This regiment will allow you to resume social drinking’
In a few months I was visiting s friend in Nashville and spent Christmas with his family. New Year’s Eve in Detroit. Eggnog flavoured rum.
I have done the most absolutely stupid things when drunk on tequila.

@A myHIVteam Member I used to wake up to one person but there were times that it was multiple men . When I was diagnosed with HIV in 2018 my doctor believes that I was positive for years because I was not letting him test me.

@A myHIVteam Member I remember those dazes, waking up with a or multiple strangers! I do not really miss those days or the hangovers. I have not done that in literally 39 years, wow am I really that old? Have a good day !! David

It’s been over ten years since I’ve had a drink. To many times waking up with a stranger

@A myHIVteam Member definitely has weird friends, I dread to think what the next one will be doing. 🤔
But it’s never a good idea to get completely wasted, a few drinks to me is fine, I’m aware that my meds are ok.
