Ever since I was young I’ve always struggled with being compliant with medication — especially pills! This has transcended into my adulthood, and I’ll be honest, I still struggle with the routine of taking meds daily.

However today, I struggle less becsuse of some clever apps, and I’ve found this to be quite helpful. I’m interested, what tech have you found to be helpful in keeping track of your meds and also your labs?

I recently downloaded "Daily Charge" although I have yet to use. I do like the Pill Reminder notification.

I think being HIV+ caused me to be more OCD. But there were times that I had to make myself take meds. Especially in the early days of the new drugs. Then after 6-7 years wanted drug holiday. I knew I had to be compliant with the regemine. And somehow my drug holiday (6months) didn't blow up in my face. Wouldn't even consider it any more. Today it's just another part of the day. I'm not stuck to a 12 or 24 strick timing.

I do have other issues such as diabetes, asthma, drug side effects that can make me nuts trying to balance it all. Like you all, I have good days, regular days, and bad days.

Sorry I'm so chatty.

I have most of my meds blister-packed by the pharmacy and get 4 weeks worth at a time, so those ones are all labelled with day and time of day. It’s basically a pill organiser which is great. Then there’s the other ones which I just time myself, I’m actually pretty good for the most part, I’m just not exactly rigid.

I just set an alarm, but this looks way better. Thank you for the post! I take half a dozen medications, so this would be helpful.

The CD4 and viral load feature is what I liked. However, not sure how user friendly it is to input, etc. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 👍
