I see my HIV doc every four months on the average, and have labs taken just before each appointment. I will be due for an appointment and getting my labs done soon. From what I understand our medical center and hospital the docs are having virtual appointments with patients. Haven't discussed getting labs with him. Can you have labs done in a smaller location like a labquest or can the send someone to the house and then you can have a telemedicine visit with your doctor to discuss ?
I have been getting my latest appointment over the phone because my labs were done ahead of time.
I’m fortunate, I had my bloods and appointment just a couple of weeks before lockdown here, and collected my usual 6-month supply of ARVs. Hope everyone is doing ok though with their regime, stay safe and well.
There's no need to worry there Michael. There will be a treatment and a test I do believe within this year.with the global community working on the vaccine I really believe we should see one by next year. I do believe he's right in that it will get worse in countries like Africa. 😔
