We're really close to a moral cliff as far as Healthcare goes. The candidates are talking about. American society is talking about it. In this so-called greatest economy in human history, how is it acceptable for people to live with a chronic condition that is in sight of being curable. Public uproar in 2020 will continue to rise as HIV infections continue to rise in middle America. We will see.

We had our end if year update here in Columbus Ohio. To my understanding, we persons with the hiv will never be cured. We'll just be able manage it as we do now. Now as far as a vaccine to those that are negative, that's looking brighter.

Not at all. And if they even come close, it will be for persons who have never taken any HIV Antiretroviral therapy before.

I feel there will be a long time for a cure. Pharmaceutical companies and others stand to loose a lot of money. I do feel there may be more meds to improve hiv pos people lifeatyles. I believe they have a cure already.just my opinion. Have a great day all. Much love and peace

No, there will be no cure but progress will continue to be made on living, a longer, healthier life with HIV. I actually believe, and hope I am wrong, that the virus cannot be eradicated from one's body. But there is increasing disinterest by our government to help those dealing with HIV/AIDS. Maybe not disinterest but deliberate and cruel discrimination against the majority of people who have HIV/AIDS, the gay community.
