The Name Of This Site.

I think if the site named was changed to something a little more discrete it may increase the activity and support. Not everyone is on the same level of acceptance and recognition of the diagnosis. Has anyone ever considered that?

to keep it discreate is like saying we should be ashamed that we have HIV. People who do not have HIV might agree with you that it should be kept under the blankets in a secret little spot. That just keeps the stigma going. To combat the stigma, you have to fight it head on, just like anyone else who fought for anything. To make change, you have to be in the open.
@A myHIVteam Member, you can change the settings to where it does not come across the phone like that. Just go into your setting and choose what you want to be notified on.

just the link anymore says HIV. the actual site just says "MY" now instead of "my hiv" So unless someone is up and close into your business, they shouldn't see the link in the address bar.

I've wondered the same thing, and also who exactly has access to the info shared on this site. (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators)
