I Am Confused About An Email I Got. Would You Respond Back Or Let It Be?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

5 months ago somebody gave me their email address (I guess supposedly now). THEY gave ME THEIR address mind you. Here is how it went down:

Replied back to them after they gave me their address: Sep 30, 2017, at 6:36 PM, hi! xavier here

Response: Sat, Sep 30, 2017 at 9:40 PM, Hey buddy, How are you?

Reply: Sun, Oct 1, 2017 at 1:10 AM, I am doing well, thank you. Hope all is good with you. Nice picture by the way. Too bad you're on the opposite side of the country. (He sent me "his?" picture)

Sorry to hear you had to go through that, no one need ,ore stress in their lives than what we need, I had a couple of guys trying to be nice with me and make friends for a few moths till they though I was comfortable enough that they could as me for money but i didn't fall for it and they stop talking to me. You made it with no scares which is great, now just bock them and move on.

In the U.K. we have a number of words for people like that, none of which I can type though...too rude!

I get cheap thrills messing with people like that. Pick their brain see what the reason is. I guess as some have said my cat-like nature. Cat and mouse can be fun when nothing else to do. Just always be aware so you are not made the mouse.

I hear you here as I have gotten catfished 3 times in the last month and all 3 times I knew it was happening so I just played along and then when they asked for money I started laughing at them and then tell them that I have known all along that they weren't who they said they were. I must have a bullseye on my forehead that says sucker.) For some reason they seem to think that over 50 and gay means dumb and gullible. I do like to play along just to see how far they will take it. The last guy played that game for almost a month and then got pissed off when I wouldn't send him money and broke character and started saying things that went completely against how he had described himself and where he was. I was laughing so hard I almost pee'd myself.
