I’m noticing so many young women joining us here from around the world. While I welcome them, I’m sad that their infection wasn’t avoided. I see advertisements constantly encouraging HIV negative gay men to go on PrEP. I know gay men whose doctors encouraged PrEP. Perhaps I’m just missing it, but I don’t see the same push for sexually active women.

HIV has come a long way from the 80s and 90s. And yes I know many will live a normal lifespan albeit challenging. However do you really believe the science or the scientific community will ,which includes our drug companies that are keeping us alive really find a cure.i read a lot and im extremely hopeful but hiv is such an insidious virus that is exceptionally good invading and hiding in our bodies. When I was Diagnosed with HIV, I had Syphilis.
As we are still alive because of Dr. Fauci with his incredible work with AIDS & HIV.
