Some medications you can just take them without food.
Other medications you have to take them with food.
for the medications that you have to take with food do you know what kind of food you have to eat to make that drug work at its maximum?
Did you know that some HIV medications work better when you eat fatty foods?
It's important to read those pamphlets that come with the medications then you know how to actually take your medications.
I take biktarvy at midnight every night with food. I’m a night owl so I’m always up at that time.i like taking it at night so if I have side effects I’m sleeping lol.

Well unfortunately @@Genvoya is not what I expected. I have every side effect listed plus a few more. Here we go...insomnia, lack of appetite, nausea, headache, diarrhea, rash, worsening neuropathy, nightmares nightmares nightmares and this strange thing which makes my eyebrows tingle after I take the dang stuff. Im due to have spinal fusion surgery in a few weeks and I'm preparing for the situation and changes my body will be restricted to a lot of things. When I do finally heal completely I wonder if I could return to doing martial arts or will that be off limits?

@A myHIVteam Member you should ask your doctor to give you a resistance test it just might be the regimine you are on. With this test they can see what is the best treatment for you
Having a partner who is HIV- seems to have some frustrations at times. I find there are times where I can get quite frustrated because above all else, I just need someone who understands. So I will leave the question open... Would you date someone who is HIV-? If so, have you ever had frustrations or struggles with the fact that you are HIV+ and they are HIV-?
I have had 2 husbands through my illness and we studied together, made decisions together and lived, just like a couple, where one is a diabetic. Alterations still have to be made.
