I drink 2 liters a day and my body is doing great; the pills don't have side effects and I don't get constipated.

Yo me tomo 2 litros al dia y mi cuerpo mantiene super las pastillas no dan efectos secundarios y no me da estreñimiento.

Drinking 2000ml (about 2 liters) of water daily is generally a fantastic
baseline for your overall health! It helps keep your body hydrated,
supports digestion, and boosts your energy levels. However, your exact
needs might change depending on your daily activity, the weather, and your
body weight. Listening to your body and drinking when you're thirsty is
always the best guide. Keep up the healthy habit🫶❤️

Is 2000ml (about 8 glasses) of water daily good for overall health when living with HIV?

Great news — 2000ml is right in the sweet spot! Staying well hydrated is especially important when living with HIV. Here's why water is your friend:

- Helps transport nutrients to and from your cells
- Reduces medication side effects
- Flushes out medicines your body has already processed
- Helps regulate body temperature during exercise or illness
- Prevents dehydration and constipation The general recommendation is 8 to 10 glasses of water (or other fluids like juices or soups) per day, so 2000ml fits nicely within that range.

If you're physically active, consider drinking a little more to stay on top of hydration. A hydration app can be a handy reminder if you sometimes forget to drink throughout the day.

As always, it's worth checking in with your doctor to make sure your hydration needs are right for your specific situation.
