I would like to add to @A myHIVteam Member comment. if you usually gets labs and you're fully away, then one night you sleep like crap, the labs will be different. If you always eat and this day you're in a rush, the labs will be different. if you say that you always get your labs done at 8 AM, but this day they couldn't get you in until 3pm, the labs will be different. if you always get your labs while you feel good, then this time you have the flu, your labs will be different. your labs will be different if you have a combination of any of these things, next lab you may have a different combination of things.
The only number you need to worry about, and that isn't even a number, is being undetectable. Undetectable is the only thing you need to worry about. Used to be back in the day, before the meds they have now, those numbers meant something, now they basically mean nothing unless you're newly diagnosed. Once you hit undetectable, they pretty much mean nothing now.

Depends on how your feeling when they took the blood test also if possible use the same lab company. Using different ones all the time they all have different sensitivity. One will say undetectable and a different lab will say 40 . As far as my id doctor says anything under 200 is undetectable don’t chase numbers unless they start trending the wrong way . I know because I used to do that now I could care less if I’m 80 viral load or under 20. HIV is controlled as long as it’s under 200
You'll be fine. They'll be watching for that on your next visit. Plus you should still be on your prophylaxis's. Rest easy.
