HIV isn’t the problem for me its the anxiety and depression I suffer that is hard dor me .
As a 35-year long-term survivor, HIV makes me feel stigmatized and rejected. It causes me physical and mental pain. It contributes to a number of mental health issues that I suffer from. It affects my sleep, and often causes fatigue.
HIV makes me feel just like the commercials, just just all bubbly and joyful, going out to social events and having a WONDERFUL TIME. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having HIV. It's the best time in my LIFE!!!
Like a never ending roller coaster ride that won’t stop lol
HIV is just part of who I am now. Many days I dont even think about it until I take my med before bed. After 34 years I am still in good health active and working full time. I try to always do as much as I can in a day because having HIV has always made me feel like there is never enough time to get it all done.
