Hello im Just trying to fine a Cheaper treatment.I take Biktarvy.But now I having to pay (Phone number can only be seen by myHIVteam users) just to get it.Does anyone have any ideas

My doctor says Biktarvy is being eliminated from the ADAP formulary in FLORIDA, as well as the eligibility requirements being cut fom 400% to 130% (poverty income level?) One resource you might check out is the Patient Advocate Foundation. It may be a similar situation in TEXAS. I understand that one replacement medication for Biktarvy that will be on ADAP'S formulary is Idvynso. Again, ADAP funds can vary from state to state, so do not make any assumptions based on my post. Do you have a medical case manager that can help you get on ADAP? That's your answer right there. If you don't know about adap, then you obviously don't have a HIV medical case manager, and you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SHOULD HAVE ONE!!! They can help you with medication, housing, utilities, getting back and forth to HIV appointments and blood labs, and more if you ask.
