The twenty years helping veterans with paperwork and transportation
Mostly my number one fan my hero my husband my grands and my daughters especially my oldest daughter she makes me call her if I need anything
If I could be remembered for just one quality, it would be this:
That I showed up for people.
Not when it was easy. Not when it was convenient. But when it mattered.
I would want to be remembered as someone who listened without judgment, who made people feel seen, heard, and understood, especially in moments when they felt alone or overlooked. Someone who did not turn away from hard conversations or difficult truths, but leaned into them with honesty and care.
Because at the end of the day, that is what stays with people. Not titles. Not accomplishments. Not circumstances.
How you made them feel.
And the person who sees that most in me right now is my husband.
He has seen every version of me. The strongest, the weakest, the moments where I had everything together, and the moments where I had nothing left. And through all of it, he has never questioned my ability to care, to show up, or to give what I have to others, even when I had very little to give.
He shows it not through words, but through trust. Through consistency. Through the way he stands beside me, not in front of me or behind me, but with me.
And that tells me everything I need to know.
Acceptance and love from my spouse.
