Kinda funny you should ask this. Not long after I was diagnosed, I was introduced to a tea blend that has always worked wonders for many ailments, especially a cold. It's actually two different kinds of tea mixed together. You mix equal parts of Japanese Sentia and Dragon Pearl together. The only warning I have about this is if your sinus is all congested, you better buckle up buttercup, because the snot will come flying out of there in no time!

Herbal Tea is good just becareful also because it can affect with your medications.
Check with your Providers or Health Nutritionist first if you would like to get more information about that. Also, if you know your Blood Type as well that will be great also to check on what is better for your health and immune system. I have my book of Home and Natural Remedies and plus I have family members that know A LOT of Home and Natural Remedies as well.

It is RIDICULOUS that this country (USA) DOES NOT CARE about the Human Being's Health just MONEY and GETTING RICHER and RICHER.

As a Human Rights Activist / Advocate / Consultant and HIV Member Advocate / Activist / Consultant I am fighting for us to WIN even if it is a long shot about this.

What are the effects of herbal tea for people living with HIV?

Herbal teas are considered a complementary or alternative treatment. While some people with HIV report feeling better using natural remedies, most haven't been studied in rigorous clinical trials to confirm their safety or effectiveness.

This is an important caution: some herbal products can interfere with HIV medications (antiretroviral therapy/ART), potentially making them less effective or causing unexpected side effects.

Here's what to keep in mind:

- Always speak with your healthcare provider before adding any herbal teas or supplements to your routine
- Some herbs can interact with HIV medications in ways that affect how well they work
- "Natural" doesn't automatically mean safe, especially when managing HIV

A healthy, balanced diet is generally recommended for people living with HIV to support the immune system and help the body absorb ART medications more effectively. Herbal teas could be part of a broader wellness approach, but only with your doctor's guidance.

I do something like an Earl Grey for a lighter lift than coffee, green tea for some health benefits, Yogi brand "Detox" to cleanse (and the tag has a nice message like a fortune cookie), Chamomile to relax, but I think that's psychological. Light effects, nothing major.
