I notice we often use words like 'battle,' 'warrior,' or 'patient.' But lately, I’ve been thinking about how those words affect our stress levels. How do you describe your relationship with HIV to yourself? Is it an enemy, a roommate you didn't ask for, or just a line item on your medical chart?

To be honest, I don't think about it. I live MY life and be proactive when I believe I need to. My diagnosis is just part of my existence on this planet.

I say I am a conquer.
I mean I have conqured the multi pill cocktail to get down to one a day .

I conquered the treadmill of dr visits every three months.

I have conquered the stigma surrounding the terms Hiv / Aids .
