One of our fellow members, @A myHIVteam Member, shared a powerful reminder today: "This too shall pass." He reminded us that when things get rough, one of the best things we can do is reclaim our joy through "me time." For Frank, that’s a perfect date with himself involving Chinese takeout or chicken nuggets and a good movie.

I gave myself this weekend, had a friend over for dinner Friday, May “Joyce’s Hamburg Casserole” he loved it we ended up chatting all night into Saturday morning. He went home, loved dinner…here take a plate to go, I said. Saturday night/Sunday morning at 4:33am the “3 dog night” was singing LOUD !! Like someone was breaking into the house. I jumped from bed, grabbed a hammer as I ran past the table in hallway, ran down the stairs in my
Longjohns turned on the
Light. The dogs stopped the “singing”….barking actually as I yelled “shut the F+++ up you B******. Those dogs looked at me like “you were not invited to this party William, go back to bed” and I did. Here we have Squeaker, Dallas and Luna, top to bottom. Oh and this morning we’ve got 1/2” - 1” snow, sleet and freezing rain…..come’on summer
Unintentionally I did this today. I woke up at 9am. Late for me. Called a round to a few places see if my debit card was there. Found it at the place I was at Thursday evening. Went there got my card. Ended up having lunch there. Went to a museum after. Walked around through downtown saw some public art. Had a happy hour drink. Came home took a nap.
I'd go on a getaway to my trailer in the middle of nowhere with literally NO neighbours. A good campfire, cold drinks, and being alone with nature always does me good.
Well i took my self on a date went to dinner and and enjoyed myself and it felt good
