Members shared how they are wrapping up winter and gearing up for the warmer months ahead, with many noting that their regions barely felt like winter at all. Several members described exciting plans like opening backyard pools, starting small gardens, planting flower bulbs, and teaching grandchildren about growing plants. A recurring theme was the joy of swapping out heavy clothes for sundresses and sandals, firing up the grill, and looking forward to fresh seafood and warm-weather treats.

Putting those boots and bulky sweaters away and pulling out my tank tops and sundresses out and my sandals. Plus looking forward to delicious fresh seafood and those icy daiquiris and margaritas!

I’ve decided to buy some flower bulbs and I’ve spoken to my neighbor and I’m going to start a small garden. Plus plant some flowers at my son’s house and teach my grandchild about planting. Yes I like playing in dirt and came up with a new health regiment.

Los Angeles has been in the 80s and 90s it’s been summer here all winter practically. I can’t relate to the prep you all who actually have seasons go through, so I’ll just watch as you post

Living in Southern California. Technically we have a winter and fall season. However with our weather we really only have two seasons. Spring and summer.
