Congratulations on reaching 42 years—that's an incredible milestone! You're definitely not alone in this journey.

There are many long-term survivors thriving in the community. One member was diagnosed back in 1985 and has been living well for over 35 years. Another member shared their story of being diagnosed in 2003 and is now undetectable, married, and actively rebuilding their community.

The long-term survivor community includes people who've been through the earliest days of the epidemic, when doctors gave dire predictions, yet they're still here—living full, meaningful lives.

Many long-term survivors focus on:
- Staying active and maintaining physical health
- Building supportive relationships
- Advocating for others with HIV
- Practicing gratitude for each day
- Sharing their stories to reduce stigma

Your 42 years represent resilience, strength, and hope for others. Connecting with fellow long-term survivors can provide mutual support and celebration of how far you've all come together.
